Representation: /mod warn opens the warning dialog; the action automatically appears as a new, numbered case in the case log.
How /mod works
Seven subcommands, one command
/mod bundles warn, timeout, kick, ban, unban, history and cases in a single command - from issuing a warning to the complete case list, gated behind the Moderate Members permission.
Every action becomes a numbered case
Warning, timeout, kick, ban and unban each create a running case per server automatically - with reason, moderator and timestamp. /mod history shows one member's history, /mod cases the server's ten latest cases with a link into the dashboard.
Automatic escalation by points
Every warning adds warning points (default 1, adjustable up to 10 per warning). You set up to ten escalation steps in the dashboard - out of the box: 3 points timeout (60 min), 5 points timeout (24 h), 7 points kick, 10 points ban. Once a member reaches a threshold, the bot automatically runs the highest matching step.
Warning points expire automatically
“Warn points expire after (days)” in the dashboard controls how long a warning counts toward escalation (default: 90 days, 0 = never expires). The case itself stays visible in the history forever - only the point total goes down.
Log channel and optional DM
With a log channel configured, every case is posted there automatically as an embed - with the affected member, moderator, reason, and for timeouts or temporary bans the duration too. With “DM on punishment” enabled in the dashboard (default: on), the member also gets a private message with the case number and reason.
